THINGS I (DO/DON'T/VERY MUCH) LIKE

LIKE and LOVE:

GENERAL

• FOOD: My favorite food is eggs benedict (and most other types of eggs), as well as almost anything my parents cook. I have a major sweet tooth, and my favorite ice cream flavor is pistachio.
• DRINKS: I'm not very picky, I'll drink almost anything, but my favorite soda is Mountain Dew, I drink a LOT of milk, and I'm very partial to eggnog. The first time I had eggnog my uncle was making it from scratch, and he made two batches so that I could try the non-alcoholic stuff. It quite literally changed my life and eggnog is one of my "I'm stressed" foods.
• HOBBIES: I have pretty simple hobbies--drawing, reading, watching tv, occasionally writing. I also like bug-pinning, which is slightly more niche.
• MISCELLANEOUS: My favorite animals are chain catsharks and my favorite flowers are poppies (my favorite color is red). I also love buying clothes and dressing like a deadbeat dad. My favorite pen is the black BiC Gel-ocity 0.5mm.

MEDIA

• MOVIES: I try not to be a shitty film bro, but it's really hard when I'm way smarter and have better taste than anyone else. Some of my favorite movies are Re-Animator, The House that Jack Built (sound familiar?), American Psycho, Jaws, Little Shop of Horrors, and Sidekicks (the Chuck Norris movie). I have legitimate reasons for liking most of these, but I just like Sidekicks because I watched it with my dad and thought Jonathan Brandis was hot at the time. • VIDEO GAMES: My all time favorite video game is definitely The World Ends with You. The effects that this game has had on my life are innumerous, both positive and negative. The grip that Joshua Kiryu had on me in eighth grade was terrifying. I first found out about TWEWY via Kingdom Hearts. I was wildly fixated on KH from sixth to ninth grade, and I still really enjoy the series to this day #roxaskinnie. I also, as of reading this, have recently been playing Fallout: New Vegas, and I really enjoy it. I understand why people say it's the best Fallout game + my romance with Arcade Gannon was wonderful. Last but not least is Earthbound, introduced to me once again by my father. I remember seeing him playing it for the first time and seeing Jeff, to which I said "he looks like a huge fucking nerd". Turns out my dad had renamed his character to be my name. Humbling.
• MUSIC: My favorite band is Say Anything. Other than that, some bands/artists I like are Fall Out Boy, Dead Milkmen, Nirvana, Radiohead, Weezer, Bloodhound Gang, Oingo Boingo, My Chemical Romance, CAKE, various Vocaloids, Muse (from Love Live!), and the like. My Spotify can be found here.
• TV SHOWS: As you may have noticed, I do like anime. Some of my favorites are Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Naruto (which I have not yet finished), and Kekkai Sensen. It isn't super active, but you can find my MAL here. Other than that, I also enjoy documentaries, especially on history, crime, and sharks. I also really like South Park, Superjail, Moral Orel, and Rick and Morty. And lots of shitty reality tv (it's my desire for drama).
• BOOKS: Lord of the Flies by William Golding has had an embarasssingly prominent influence on my life, right down to my name, the pillar of my identity. Jack Merridew told me some Things about myself. I really enjoy sci-fi, especially H.G. Wells, whose works I started reading around age ten. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is another favorite of mine, which I find relatable and, honestly, a relaxing read. Another book I relate to is The Picture of Dorian Gray. As you can tell, I tend not to stray away from "classics", as I find I enjoy them the most. I also read manga, and have quite a few on my bookshelf. Some manga I like that haven't already been mentioned as anime are The Titan's Bride, Manly Appetites, Angels of Death: Episode 0, the prequel to Angels of Death, Azumangah Daioh, and The Case Study of Vanitas.

GENERAL

• FOOD: I said before, I'm not picky, but there's some food textures I just can't do. Stringy vegetables like asparagus and green beans, meat with too much fat, and kimchi are some of these (my dad eats kimchi with almost every meal; I can't smell very well but my mom says it's apparently awful). I also won't eat anything with fake sugar like Splenda or Stevia.
• DRINKS: Shitty hotel coffee and coffee with gross creamer. Some things are meant to be bitter.
• MISCELLANEOUS: People who don't clip their nails, stupid people, periodically my friend Sabina, the size of my ass, and getting cat hair stuck in my nose.
